fish CX typerating/conversion exams/tests

First of all I would like to thank the guys/girls who assist in answering questions in here – you are a huge help to us CX wannabes.

When you join CX as a Direct S/O (JAR CPL(A)/ME/IR (ATPL Theory) what will be the process with regard to schooling/exams. I understand that you will go to Adelaide (AUS) for the type rating for approximately 1 month and then back to HKG.
What kind of exams will you have to do for the rating? (e.g. some theoretical and some practical?)
Are there any HKG CAA exams to sit for the conversion from JAR- to HKG license?
Will you actually get type-rated on that specific aircraft type?

Thank you in advance
