Old r22 circuit video

Hi! This is a long shot but.. a few years ago I seen a video on YouTube, which I suspect was recorded early 90’s, of an experienced (older) gentleman in England (with a very British accent) flying and explaining the ‘perfect’ r22 circuit. He is at a large grass strip which looked like south England. I have tried numerous times since to find the video but to no avail. Does any rotorheads know of this video and if so is it still available on the interweb? It may have been part of a series I’m not sure. G

Not necessarily ex-mil, could be just a proper English gentlemen, it’s a great video, does anyone know if has been used for training purposes?

David Dixon RIP

Yes the voice is that of David Dixon and you should check out the thread David Dixon (Former Chairman Helicopter Board Of Examiners) RIP .David Dixon (Former Chairman Helicopter Board Of Examiners) RIP

I first met David when he was chief pilot at Trent Helicopters Luton Airport in the 1980's where he undertook my type rating training on the Jet Ranger. We remained close friends for many years and I miss his overwhelming charm. wit and aviation professionalisim. I am sure there are many pprunners that owe him a great debt of gratitude in assisting them forward in their helicopter careers.

WOW! Indeed its Sywell. I recognize it only by the road and house on final approach. I was flying G-OSHL as well.
