And this other pilot was not remotely qualified to sit in the captain's seat and / or 'assist'

'Calling for assistance' in this scenario is NOT what we are trained to do, we are all qualified to operate these aircraft, in an emergency like this, single pilot to a safe...

I wouldn't let anyone I didn't know personally and professionally into the cockpit anymore.



Not that big a deal to divert and land by your self in a modern two pilot aircraft and I don't see...
