Yeah, the internal GPS signal can be a bit squirrely at times. It'll hold the signal for tens of minutes at a time and then it'll disappear. You'll note though that the DTG to APOMA is pretty close....

QF's reside in the seat back pocket. They're locked and unusable outside the aircraft. It someone steals one it's a very big paper weight but useless otherwise.
