I think the contract was for 27 years, signed in...

I think the contract was for 27 years, signed in 2008(?) and it started providing services in 2013(?), so 2040 ish depending on when the contract commenced?

I suspect Davef68 is referring to the fact that the RAF's E-3s have both a probe and receptacle, not that any of the C-17s had a probe...
