Again, thanks for all the responses.
Just to be clear on one thing, I do not NEED a PBD or the automation to take me to a 10 mile final.
Ofcourse I can use the TLAR method and bring myself at a 10...

Sorry i did not give alot of details.
I was flying flight plan route which would take me to the VOR.
ATC cut me off on a very long base...

ATC asked us to intercept a 10 mile Final.

The IAF was at 14.5 miles, and there was no specific point at 10 miles.
I asked the Captain if he could insert a PBD for me and the Captain told me to just select some heading/track and use...
