My post is not about the actions if the crew. It is about the culture of the airline. Did they declare a pan and fuel emergency? If so end of discussion, its just the report doesn't say....

I'd suggest they did put on extra fuel. Didn't they do 2 approaches before declaring and landing on third? If Mildura was the alternate (not sure here) then that is almost 60 mins more fuel at 1t per...

2.5 tonne in 737 is not much. Approx 60 mins. 1 missed approached and recircuit and you're at legal mins.

Bn-ad. Per tonne of fuel carried extra it will use about 60kg. So...
