So your N1 and TOT limits are there to protect...

So your N1 and TOT limits are there to protect the engine and the Tq limit is there to protect the transmission.

If you are within your N1 and TOT limits in the hover and you are below your AUM...

I think the 109 got a bad press for a while...

I think the 109 got a bad press for a while following a couple of crashes which were due to the scissors assembly on the rotor being fitted incorrectly.
