We will soon know what happened as they will have access to the QAR.
If the L eng was giving concern then even if the R eng was on fire you would probably throttle it just in case the L eng suddenly...

What I find odd about the pictures & reports is why the crew left the R Eng running when clearly it was on fire? Could it be that the L Eng had already been shut down or was producing abnormal...
