Ended up with its nose against the brick wall and big $'s worth of damage.

As far as I know you will only get a validation if you are working for Air Mauritius.
In that case the company does it for you and it can still take a month or more.

Air Mauritius continues downward slide

Air Mauritius is set to announce the axing of more routes in an attempt to curb its precarious financial situation.
This follows the axing earlier this year of its flights to Geneva and Zurich....
