Scary as my thread from 2 weeks ago speaks of emergency landing at biggin hill. Could have ended like this or worst.

True maybe he did need to discuss it more with me. I think there was a bit drama of the fire engines and airport authorities and flight school needing to call ATC etc and some paper work to be done...

The crest was just ahead of us, I think he waited untill speed dropped and then thought best bring it down here rather than hitting the crest at some speed.

I don't want to mention the company...

Ammeter wasn't working in another aircraft and there was nothing on the gauge to indicate it wasn't working.
Fuel gauge, left one was showing full while the right was showing between half to 3/4...

Hi,

Well the story begins with me being 2 hours into my PPL. Only had a the trial flight done and was on a 5 hour trial package.

Aircraft was a C152 and after the start up checks everything...

Anyone know what kind of crew and flight testing the Emirates A340-500 will do before entering service in December.

I heard it might fly a bit to Gatwick before then ??? :confused:
