Just out of interest, which CHC dauphin are the pictures from? Don't recognise the ear defenders or life jackets from any of the 'N' contracts I am familiar with.

To my knowledge, the info on pitch and roll comes from the copilots ADI, then fed in parallel to the IHUMS and FDR. There are 3 ADI's on the Dauphin.

Hi,

Could someone please shed some light on the general procedure for using VNAV. ie. Can it be selected alone or does it have to be coupled with autopilot or autothrottle?
