I think it unlikely that we (or anyone) will ever be able to get one, definitive version of what really happened but the reason we're so interested and so passionate is because we love the old girl...

I thank M.Mouse for the feedback on my statement that Concordes were profitable and would respectfully point out that I would not consider myself to be in the rose-tinted spectacle camp ;o)

Too right...

What's *really* sad is not whether BA mis-judged the effect of their decision upon their own business - I couldn't give two hoots about what happens to them from now on - just another ex-state...
