Heathrow VOLMET Corrected

Why do I so often hear 'Corrected' on London VOLMET for Heathrow? I have never heard this at LGW so I wondered what purpose it serves.

Thanks for your informed response. I agree, a simple rule is required, however, just change '10m' to '10m Equivalent Air Depth'. This seems a simple and reasonable step.

How much do you want for the headset? I fly B757/B767 so I take it that it should be OK in these aircraft? Does it have standard 2 jack connectors?
