It looks like the 196 is the better option - it sounds like it may be worth the extra bucks over the Pilot III.

I had a lot of problems getting the set up right on finals - a certain amount of a good approach is getting an "eye" for the correct approach.

I will look up the web and see what the Aeroclubs are like in Sabadell.

Spain seems to be reasonably priced - flew out of Malaga in June and got a pretty reasonably hourly rate....
