As far as I have been told, the average is 7-10 days away, and then roughly the same off. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. Depends on whether you have recurrent in HK, etc.

To the best of my knowledge, Transport Canada will issue you a "Restricted" commercial based on your FAA. I am not so sure about your instrument rating though. Here in Canada one must do an IFR...

First Officers get 42 days annual leave. I am not sure about GDO's, but I think it is 7 or 8 per month.
