It's a nightmare - you don't hear from them for weeks and don't have any idea if somethings wrong with the application.

They might even get reduced telephone calls if they bother to update their...

The problem of fuel vapous is only a secondary reason.

The main reason to disallow mobile phones is beacuse
they can cause severe interference to avionics !

Flew jump seat CDG to LHX 2 weeks ago no problem - regular BA Exec Club Flyer, and that's probably what swung it. Always ask .

I sat the MET paper firt 2 weeks ago and failed - the paper was nothing like the Confuser.

Re-sat today and got 95% and the paper virtually mirrored the Confuser.

Smile BAE146 much better for short haul

I often fly as a passenger in the 146 (Air France coded) between Birmingham and Paris - nothing better.
