Life jacket demo missed?

Is it a requirement for a flight starting in UK (Luton) and finishing in Poland to have a life jacket demo? We had seatbelts and oxygen mask as part of the safety demo but no life jackets.

Just flown back, Frankfurt to Birmingham, with Lufthansa. Again no life jacket bit in the safety demo. The plane was routed via Amsterdam over the North Sea, so a not inconsiderable stretch of water...
