When flying into London City and being handed over to either director or tower with the callsign only instruction, you almost always hear both the station being addressed as well as the callsign.

340 + 20 gives you 360/000 then you have to add 100 to get to 100 degrees.

For what its worth, you can use Sin(240)x30 and the answer is -26 knots....

I know of two people personally (non locals) who were hired by them this year. Both with low hours. From what I have heard it would be basically impossible to live on the mainland.
