I wouldn't usually recommend those aviation certs. They aren't necessary at all, and generally, the most they do is help you fill up your resume. But Altara especially (Jetstar, Tiger, Cobham, etc)...

1. The hours during GS were mostly 0800 to 1700, but depending on how quickly your class can push through the content, you may finish earlier around 1500 or 1600. And this does vary from day to day....

While you guys have the time, Altara requires an OPG (Dental X-Ray) from you, so perhaps it's a good idea to either get a digital copy of your existing x-ray, or get a new one taken.
