Talking about CX, they were well aware of the problems at HKA and hence released POS18 waiting to catch all those who may end up without jobs. It’s not luck, it’s was a calculated assessment.

They used to fly you to Hong Kong. My guess would be with the terrible POS18 on offer, all they can dredge up is the bottom of barrel....

English Level 4
ICAO ATPL

My hours are:
2300TT
1300 Jet (small citations)
English Level 6
