Yeah you usually end up in a holding pool usually 6 months+ (still getting paid) before you actually fly a bus but nevertheless the moment you get up in the air you'll see upgrades on the table...

Converting your licenses would be a waste of money. There may be no jobs in Singapore but most definitely there are jobs elsewhere in Asia.

MPL isn't ideal in this case why don't you just convert your licences to FAA and considering you already have 800+ hours you stand a chance of getting picked up by an airline

Well after months of research and phone calls CFA sounds like a good academy. I'm currently waiting for my visa interview and if I get the green light I'll be off at the beginning of 2015 :)

Then again his past experience at the academy dates back to 2008 so it's not exactly reliable as things may have changed over the six years. I'm still seeking a recent review on the academy. Anyone?...
