Just a note on picking a flt school at the coast is may not a good idea. Most of the flying in Africa is done inland in hot 'n high conditions. It might be better to train at a inland school...

Well in Namibia the good mechanics are better paid than the average commercial pilots flying for charter companies. But the pilots have more fun and sometimes they are well tipped by the tourist.
