Sorry to pick peanuts out of poo, but the Jet is the Globemaster III, the aircraft in your pictures is the Globemaster II.

The original Globemaster is the Douglas C-74.:ok:

Just done some digging via some sources. Apparently my application was first vetted by OAA, approved and then forwarded to the BA side for their approval: which it didn't receive for whatever reason....

Possible, of course, but I didn't think they proved to be particularly problematic, especially since the personality test was almost identical to the one I took a few months ago and got through...

That would hold true if everything was scored in the same way, but it's not. In US universities, for example, 75% is a low C/C-. 92%+ is an A grade. Low 60s, which is a UK 2:2 standard, is an F.

Hope OAA pull their finger out soon. I just turned down a (non-flying) job offer today because I'd have to commit to 5 weeks of training- starting a week from Monday- without interruption.
