I had to perform an autothrust take off due to MEL.
Operational procedure was followed (22.30.01A) press and hold autothrust instinctive disconnection p/b for 15”.Cat 2 capability only.

I don't know any company advertising for a rated no hour on 737... Wizz has a cadet rated program so I guess you could have the same for Boeing...

Not in the SOP's but it is mainly to respect the 2' idle thrust before taxiing. But it is also helpful to monitor the starting sequence of the engine. Beside that in case of a manual start it is SOP's
