The notion that BA has the power to 'bust' the union Unite is ludicrous, Unite is there to stay. That's why BA happily and successfully found a solution with Unite over pensions and agreed new terms...

Surely with just over 40% of the entire workforce willing to strike Unite will have to think twice whether it is worth the risk to call a potentially 'illegal' strike...
