Tail strikes can happen while landing excessive hold off , cross wind landings ,wind change can contribute . Back some time around 99 to 2000 a 727 landing on runway 16 Dublin had a tail strike .

This brings back memories when I operated citation 500 and 550 back in early 90s we used prist 100% of time we always had a case stored in front lockers .later on ce 650 no requirement to use it.

Hi just a reminder the landing distance given in QRH will be unfactored depending on airline proceedures you may have to doudle this dist or correct it by 80 percent so long runway required so alot...
