No unfortunately there is nothing in G-INFO and I have googled the subject to death :sad: There must be an archive somewhere...Hendon, Wyton, Cosford, Stafford????

Tracing an Aircraft Hisory

Would anyone know how I could trace the service history of my ex RAF Bulldog? Is there an archive somewhere which keeps that sort of thing? I'd love to know which units it served on etc.

Absolutely. DHSL are really trying it on, I have a couple of years left until my CofA is due so hopefully we can get things resolved before then.

Lol, yes possibly although we did this when we took some gliders into the alps on expedition and they were a pain to get off!

I'm in negotiation with the DGAC all seems ok, I think it will be...

Ok I admit I am blonde! They must be the original NATO connector sockets that have been 're-allocated' after the Dog was converted to civi use. Why I didn't twig I'll never know, been using NATO...

I own an ex military Dawg and have also done a lot of flying in Chipmunks, albeit most of which were converted to Lycoming engined versions for glider towing, I have even flown a Mk23...

I know a chap that went up to around 30,000' in an Astir glider and wondered why the aircraft felt different.....In his rush to get airborne he forgot his parachute!!:hmm:
