I was hoping they may do a kind of John Travoltaesque, stunt, doing a lap of the world as an advertisement for the 100 yr centenary. Probaby a bit too much to ask :*

Retro BOAC 744 for Perth?

Hi there,

Does any one know if the retro painted BOAC 744 is scheduled for a visit to Perth? (Maybe as a centenary world tour for BA?) Would love to see it. Great memories for us "oldies"...

Technical problem forces Tiger Airways flight to return to Adelaide

A Tiger Airways flight has been turned back to Adelaide this evening, after a technical issue was identified.


The flight bound for Melbourne landed safely at Adelaide Airport at 6:00pm (AEDT)...
