Accountancy or Commercial Pilot?

Ive always had a dream. That is to fly a commercial Airliner. (Im crazy i know)

Problems - My parents aren't rich and i cannot afford the training.

However i am soon to start University...

Im so torn between the two paths, but flying is something i dream of.

Sorry i mis wrote that i am 17 in 7 days and when i start the course it will be July 2009 and i will be 18 years old. Parents cant help with the loan but a family member may contribute £10,000......

Transition From Small Multi Engine to Commercial Big Seaters

I was just wondering what the transition was from your training in an 8 seater to co-piloting large jumbo jets, would there be more exams to take and training?

Surely you cant just go from flying...

The course is with Stapleford Flying centre and they take you from No experience to your Frozen ATPL in around 60 weeks (assuming you pass 1st time)

I was interested in the Cabair program, but at £59,000 i cannot afford the prices. Ive chosen Stapleford Flying Centre instead at £44,000.
