Nae Vapour trails today?

Hi, Not a bad day for some dot spotting today. But as there were NO vapour trails at all, the aircraft were a little hard to see.

Q. Are the absence of trails weather related. Temp & humidity?

Bonanza crash, Scotland, 1986?

I wonder if anyone recals a Beech Bonanza crash, 1985 or 1986 whilst on approach to Glasgow (EGPF). I'm sure it was N registered, and there were 2 on board (fatalities). I've tried internet searches...
