SAS Ground Services will no longer provide handling in MAN as of 01 MAY, not even for SK Airlines

LN / ED / CF and SK will all be handled by Servisair.

Ticket Desk and Station supervision...

SGS are making cut backs and savings and that includes terminating contracts that are not fiancially viable. It makes commercial sense, although to us staff it doesnt seem like it.

MAN

SAS Ground Services no longer hanndle PIA, moved to Servisair, Air Baltic pulled off the route.

Current SGS handled carriers:

Thomas Cook (until 31 March then to Menzies)
SAS
City Airline...

I suspect that cargo revenue for US Airways is too important to loose so I doubt the 757 ops is a long term plan
