Iberia A 340 made emergency landing in Santo Domingo

An Iberia Airbus A 340 made an emergency landing on the "Las Américas" airport in Santo Domingo on May 6th at 08.20 GMT.

This was Iberia flight IB6464 from Guayaquil (GYE) to Madrid (MAD).

Normal surface of an Airbus A340-300 wing?

OK, thanks for info.

For me it looked suspicious, like some repair of a part of the wing surface.

They are pulling EC-JOH

It is today in Ecuadorian TV news. EC-JOH has a new undercarriage and they are pulling it slowly to the apron. So it is no hull loss.

Does anyone know what caused a similar incident with an Iberia...
