Who said I was comparing? I would happily take my €9 and fly a big shiny jet every day and someone on here complains that he 'only earns' €35 an hour when loads of people would gladly grab his shoes.

Its very easy for a lot of people on here to give out about people paying to fly when they are sitting in a shiny jet everyday. Try working in a supermarket for 18months on minimum wage all the time...

Am keeping my options open at the minute, any kind of flying would be great really, better than working in a shop which is what am doing now.

I am finished my training almost 18 months now and like so mnay others no sign of a job. A route I was thinking of going down was doing a type rating and hoping that would help get that first airline...

What is the difference between gross take-off distance and net take-off distance?
this question came up at the end of the chapter and i cant find the answer anywere in the book.:ugh:
