Tail heavy trim.

Yes a tail heavy trim is the best for fuel efficiency. Don't think it would make much difference on short flights but worthwhile on long haul flights.
I am not sure why but I am sure someone on here...

I can confirm that when BA dispatched the Embraer...

I can confirm that when BA dispatched the Embraer 145 it was monitored to keep it in trim. The aircraft is very nose heavy and it was normal for seats to be blocked off at the front of the aircraft....
