Can you crossfeed fuel from the failed engine side,to the live engine side, with the fuel pumps off on the failed side?

eg no 1 engine failure, and you have an ECAM FUEL (L) TK PUMP 1+2 LO PR. ...

Can anyone recommend where I can find some photos of ice buld up on upper wing surfaces , and what de icing / anti icing fluid looks like once applied to the upper wing surface?
