Well seawater adds a fair bit of weight to the lift so I am not sure if the rotor head could cope with the stress. If anyone has seen the video of G-TIGK being salvaged.... it wasn't very dignified!

Hello, I am seriously considering splashing out on a JAA/FAA CPL(h) in the US with the hope of one day becoming a north sea pilot. Obviously it is a large risk to take considering the costs involved....
