Without pretending I have any knowledge apart from my own speculation, I feel that the bands back in 2006 might have been slightly different to the score bands now. I did the FAT's in October 2006...

POAC? I dont know what this is and have only just been through the system. My whole application took over a year to get to AIB and im still not at BRNC yet. Might have to re-sit AIB, sigh!

Well thats the highest score I've heard of before. I thought it was out of 160, shows what I know! They will snap you up with a score like that!

I have been in contact with the training officer at Dartmouth and he can't seem to shed any light on the situation. Apparently I just have to hang in and wait, I think this is due to my low FAT...

mate, personally i believe if you really want to be a pilot then an engineering degree isn't the way. i can see the boarding officer turning to you and saying "well we haven't selected you for pilot....

Ill soon be 18 and im just short of 6ft3, i was of the understanding that it was more crucial to fit measurements such as buttock to heel and sitting height rather than purely how tall you are??

Pilot height restrictions

Good evenin' all,

I am applying as a pilot for the RN, I have already passed my FATS and have strong confidence in myself for AIB, however, im a little concerned about the height restrictions....
