BA engine issue LHR-MAD last 24h

Anyone heard anything? Have a friend (not an aviator) who was a passenger on board a flight to MAD and on take off had engine "blow out" in his words and return to LHR. Must been a large bang.

Interesting. Once again though, pilots replacing strikers are not strike breakers... If they don't they will get fired. One solution is for picket lines (if allowed) to "intimidate" arriving...

Easyjet flexicrew as proportion of total flight crew

Hi

Does anyone know where I could get figures for numbers of flight crew employed by easyjet, and crucially, what proportion of those are flexicrew (ie subcontrated out to Parc or CTC?

Hi can anyone help on this? I have always since my ATPL training struggled with this one.

I was taught that for faster airspeeds swept wings can help delay onset of Mcrit by effectively "fooling"...

RRVR for UK airfields

Hi

I cannot afford Jepp plates and so use the Instruemnt App Plates from the UK AIS website. These plates however do not give DA or MDA, or RVR.

I have found out (from this forum - thanks)...
