Thanks guys for all the advice. I am already registered on the ENAV site for the AIP and have contacted the airport and the fuel suppply so hopefully it will be a good trip. I will let you know !

Definitely worth doing the IMC. I did it a few years ago and have used it a lot since. It is really useful to be able to get on top of the bad weather when there is no class A airspace to stop you....

Thats clear , thanks. Only problem is that I have flown many other times at night as well, recently back from Antwerp to Wellesbourne, take off at 1900 and never got charged. Must have been lucky!
