How severe as these problems? How likely is it that the IFE on a 747 isn't working? Is the same system used on the A 330 (does it cope better due to fewer pax?)

Thanks for your reply. I'm none of the above - but I am a holder of another EU country's passport, which I think gives me the right to apply for LHR. I take it there will be no Australian LH newbies...
