Beacuse of the windy and wet weather today around London, LHR were using 27R as the main landing runway, and 27L for departures but there was a few landed on 27L - we waited 40 mins at the holding...

I've always found the IBIS to be decent enough, and reasonable too. It is a fairly lengthy walk to Cranebank though. The Jury's Inn is the closest to Cranebank....I'm not sure about cost for a room...

I dont think that is quite correct - there is 6 sections in the test. You can fail one and this is classed as a partial. If you fail 2 or more then it is a whole resit you need i.e second series.

I went down to Cranebank last month for the SSP selection, which I believe day 1 is identical to DEP.

The radar rings do indeed stay on the screen, however BA give you instructions...

Personally I find ones with flat flames better...

Personally I find ones with flat flames better than round or fatter frames - you can find that if your headset is tight over your ears the frames of the glasses start to hurt the side of my head....

My advice would be not to do all 9 in one sitting. I did 7 which personally was more than enough.Why dont you do the remaining two the month later? I think it would be better to do that and have 14...
