mostly advantages like less damage due...

less damage due f.o.d.,iceing,bird hits,etc.
no mid span shrouds in fan,more strength

The disadvantages are
-high weight
-low aspect ratio i.e. low thrust

If steering bypass pin on steering actuator of nose landing gear is not installed on B737NG then sys A hyd. pumps(both) should be off and alternate steering not selected(sys B).:ugh:
