Yep, just recently I sent a message to Air Iceland. They are operating a DHC-6 on wheel/ski. Unfortunately no reply until today. Let's wait and see...

A project I am involved in is looking for a Twin with Wheel/Ski, like a TwinOtter, a Do228 or even a Harbin/Panda Y12.

So I guess I'll do it and fly Ariana from FRA to KBL. At least timewise it's much better than doing the DXB detur.

I'll have to fly from FRA to KBL next month to do some checks at Afghan airports. There are two weekly non-stop services by ARIANA (A-310). Sounds good to do it non-stop instead of flying FRA-DXB-KBL...
