some are 5 mins both eng and 5 mins OEI same as my fleet.
This is an optional for airline upto amount...

It depends on their system.

Transponder ALT reporting on or off in B777?

In some airports they required to turn ALT reporting on on the ground.
But in B777 the ALT reporting (mode C) is inhibited on ground even we set the selector knob to XPDR position(FCOM)
so how...

or we can use it as usual until 30Apr15

i try to find in many webs but unsuccess.
i think it may be from these possible causes.
1. avoid rain dropping and for good visualisation during rainy
2. avoid reflect from the other side window....

I'd ever heard that cat1 ils signal wasn't approved for autoland.

But in some authorities approved the runway with only ils cat1 for autoland

according to

1 no offset locallizer

2 glide...
