Sad news

Was one of the original pilots with Duke Life Flight in 1985. This is very sad news and my thoughts are with the crew, their family and the staff at Life Flight.

We have three cameras mounted on our AW139's for Saudi Aramco. One camera is mounted on the vertical fin looking forward. We can see both sides of the helicopter to include the baggage compartments....

For some reason, Agusta decided that the bubble was necessary to cover the TCAS antenna on the long nose version. I asked why, but never did get an answer.

Both aircraft made the trip just fine....
