I hear you! But the proposal is always to stay within the airway and NB that the Airbus FMS will turn early anyway if the heading change is above a certain threshold-you WILL NOT normally fly...

We are under some pressure to consider cutting the corner at waypoints and beacons along the route to shave a smidgin off the fuel burn. I'm told that Cathay and possibly some other operators do this...

ATPL Expiry Exemption-Help please

My ATPL runs out of its (5 yr) validity soon. Does the CAA exemption allowing ratings to run on to the end of the month in which they expire apply to my ATPL or just the ratings/tests thereon?
