Some places in the states have two pilots...

Some places in the states have two pilots building hours at the same time. One is flying under the hood, one is looking out. Under this arrangement both can log under the FAA regs.

Been a few years since I was there but two places that I went to were Chofu Airport (west of Tokyo) - there are a few flying schools. Prices back in 1997 were around Y38,000 per hour for a 172
