Yes, the cc should have checked the screens before the demo - its a CAA requirement (for UK based airlines) that all pax are informed about safety procedures (safety demo).

Isn't there a CC/JAR Ops rule that says you can't fly LAX - days off - HKG (or similar routes) because of the excessive time...

My friend was a pax on this flight & she would like to know what happened to the very dodgy landing.

It would seem that they had an aborted landing into BHX, sick & POO :eek: everywhere....

I'm rubbish at swimming but got through VAA swimming bit no probs. Just make sure your 'rescue person' is a strong swimmer - they'll be able to help you.
