Primer?

Hi.

I was wondering if anybody knew why the primer on most 4 cyl. piston engine aircraft is attached only to three of the cylinders?

I posted the same question in maintenance a couple of weeks...

Primer

Hi guys,

I was wondering. It seems that in most light aircraft, like the Piper PA28-161 for one, the primer is only connected to three of the cylinders. Why is this?

Why not both?

As far as I know, the best way to build hours today is still flight instruction. If you take your IR and ATPL's now you save the CPL written exams.

Why is it, that METARs, TAFs and other text weather is written somewhat differently between the different countries regardsles of FAR, JAR etc. - I thought ICAO was supposed to enforce a so to speak...

As far as I know, and I am myself undergoing the FAA IR now, if you get the FAA Multi IR it works for single engines as well.

On the other hand, some of my friends doing single engine FAA IR...
